Chief's Message
The Quincy Police Department staff and I are grateful for the opportunity to serve this community. We are truly committed to our community and understand that by working together we can make a positive difference. I believe we all have a common desire to make sure our community is strong, healthy, vibrant and a safe place for all to enjoy.
We currently have 23 authorized sworn officer positions and 8 support staff that contribute to the overall success of our department. These positions offer a variety of services which include patrol, investigations, school resource, records, animal control services and community outreach.
The police department also oversees the Quincy Animal Shelter and helps support their mission to ensure that all animals that find their way into the shelter are treated with love, reunited with their owner, or find their forever home.
The Quincy Police Department takes pride in serving our community and we invite you to stop by and offer any suggestions or concerns you may have.
Kind regards,
Chief Ryan Green
